Mark Blake is a British music journalist and creator. His work has been printed since 1989 in The Instances and The Each day Telegraph, and the music magazines Q, Mojo, Traditional Rock and Prog. In Might 2017, he was employed as launch editor of Planet Rock journal and is a contributing editor to the title.[1]

Blake is a former Assistant Editor of Q, and beforehand edited the books Dylan: Visions, Portraits and Again Pages and Punk: The Complete Story” (Dorling Kindersley, 2004 & 2005). He has moreover contributed to official duties for Pink Floyd, along with Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Stays, The Who, Queen and the Jimi Hendrix property. He’s represented by Matthew Hamilton at The Hamilton Company.

Blake is the creator of the 2007 music biography, Pigs May Fly: The Inside Story of Pink Floyd,[2] printed by Aurum Press (accessible under the title Comfortably Numb: The Inside Story of Pink Floyd inside the USA); Stone Me: The Wit & Knowledge Of Keith Richards,[3] (Aurum Press, 2008); Is This The Actual Life: The Untold Story of Queen (Aurum Press, 2010) and Faux You are in a Struggle: The Who and The Sixties, printed by Aurum Press in September 2014. His subsequent information, Carry It On Dwelling: Peter Grant, The Story Of Rock’s Best Supervisor is due for publication by Little Brown/Da Capo inside the UK and US in 2018.
